HUGG's INN - Cincinnati, OH owned by Bob Huggins, UC Coach

This place was definitely THE sports bar. There was a small basketball court & Bob Huggin's radio show was done in a booth regularly there. Coach Huggins was known to frequent here and smoke cigars and talk with fans. On one of the last nights it was open he was there. He signed a menu for us and was very nice to us and everyone there.
Great experiences there.... Restaurant and Huggins are both missed.

George Brett's Restaurant in Kansas City, MO at Country Club

Country Club Plaza is a very cool place....like an outdoor shopping mall that goes for blocks and a great place to window shop and walk off some food. George Brett's is a contemporary upscale restaurant/bar that has memorabilia, souvenirs for sale, and a bar for watching the game but it's definitely more of a restaurant than sports bar. The service was excellent here and there's a nice bar area to sit and have a drink while you're waiting for a table at busier times like when we were there ...

Harry Caray's Restaurant downtown Chicago, IL

This place is all about watching the game and getting HUMONGOUS portions of food. TV's everywhere in eyesight of when you're dining....hate that if only one of us can watch the game at the same time while eating. We both ordered some of the best Italian food that I've had....and the portion was huge...they definitely don't skimp. We ate in the pub side to watch the football games on, but there's also a nice quiet dining side. It's in a terrific location downtown close to everything, also. ...

This restaurant can definitely boast having the best atmosphere. We were there for a pre-game tailgating party and the amount of people there was unbelievable. This is definitely something that you should look into doing if you go there and you can buy tickets through www.packerfantours.com if you want to do the tailgating thing....this was pre-game though.

Later on after the game, since we had parked there, we decided to go back and have dinner there. They have a laid back area in the ...

Ozzie Smith's Restaurant in St Louis, MO

It's been a few years since we've been there, but I remember that it had great food, A LOT of big screen TV's that make it a great place to catch a game, and a lot of Ozzie's memorabilia around to look at. We were there early in the day on a weekend, so it wasn't that crowded, but they said that it gets really busy at lunch time during the week because of the office buildings that flank it. So, this would be the time to avoid crowds if that's not your thing.

We went to this restaurant recently and found out that Gary Burbank, Cincinnati 700WLW radio host, ...AKA Gilbert Gnarley...AKA Earl Pitts... had sold his last restaurant left about 3 years ago. He sells the naming rights each year and has sold the recipes to his food, so the food is still the same and will continue to be. The service was excellent and the food was really great. They serve BBQ, Catfish, Pulled Pork, etc. with a lot of different side items, of which our favorite was the Sweet ...
